Los Rancheros Kiwanis in Action

Kiwanis of Los Rancheros continue to sponsor weekly art lessons at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. This week Ms. Kara taught the children how to draw palm trees and a hammock. Several Kiwanis members and Ronald McDonald House Charities President and CEO, Charles Day were present for all the fun and learning!

Kiwanians CIndy Steele, Grandma Lulu's Table, and Judy Blackford, Gently Hugged, teamed up recently for a food distribution event in Vista. The Backyard Produce Project donated fresh fruit for the event. Los Rancheros Kiwanis is happy to support these organizations.

Los Rancheros Kiwanis helps keep our community clean. After completing a safety training course from CalTrans, members of Kiwanis got together to clean the area surrounding the on/off ramp at I-15 and West Bernardo Drive and Pomerado Road.

Los Rancheros Kiwanis was honored to donate time and money to Sienna's Garden. The parents and older sibings of Sienna, an early elementary student, had a goal of rehabilitating the adjacent public park in memory of Sienna. After countless hurdles with the city, Sienna's Garden was created.

When 3 sisters, Regan, Kelly and Julia learned of the many benefits of Sensory Pathways, they took it upon themselves to create one at 2 local Elementary Schools in 4S Ranch.
