MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

REED REICHERT

2022 LOS RANCHEROS KIWANIS PRESIDENT
Hello and thank you for taking a moment to visit the Los Rancheros Kiwanis web site. It is my privilege to share with you our Kiwanis story. We hope our newly designed web site tells our story and most importantly tells you who we are, what we do, and the difference we are trying to make in our community.

INTERNATIONAL FOCUS

You may already be aware of our international focus on trying to improve the lives of children. War, hunger, and disease are the realities of far too many of the world’s children.

LOCAL FOCUS ON OUR SCHOOLS

Or perhaps you have a student in one of our local high schools who is a member of one of our Key Clubs. If you do then you know how committed these young adults are to serving others and the leadership skills they are developing.
If you find yourself wanting to learn more about us please feel free to leave a message on our site. We promise a prompt response to your question.

PARTNERSHIPS IN SUPPORT OF OUR MILITARY

At Los Rancheros we also work very closely with our military. Our partnership with North County Standdown helps support their outreach to our areas homeless veterans. We are also engaged with the Wounded Warrior Battalion West at Camp Pendleton. We assist them in improving the lives of those brave men and women who have so proudly worn our Nation’s Cloth. Additionally, we provide school supplies and Thanksgiving dinners to members of the Battalion and their families.

IN CLOSING

I am often asked what we are looking for in a potential new member. Frankly we are really interested in two things: The content of your character and the size of your heart. We would like you to believe as we do in our motto for 2022; Together We Can!

Thank you again for spending some time with us because together we can.
